You don't.

The WildLids Glow Kit traces your helmet in cold-glow EL light, so drivers see a shape they recognise instead of a shadow. It runs three modes - steady, flash and strobe - from a small battery pack that clips under the shell.

What you get

EL light strip, pre-shaped for a full-face helmet

Inline controller with three modes

Battery pack (2 x AA, not included) and adhesive mounts

The facts

Fits any full-face or modular helmet - the strip follows the shell, it doesn't drill into it

Six colours: white, red, blue, ice blue, green, purple

Nylon-sheathed, weather resistant, stays put at speed

Weighs almost nothing - you'll forget it's on

Straight answers

Is this safety equipment? No. It is a visibility aid and a decoration. It does not change your helmet's safety rating, and it is not a substitute for lights on your bike. Fit it so nothing covers your visor.

Will it damage my helmet? The mounts are adhesive and come off with gentle heat.
